Instructions
For use only with drivers, fairway woods and hybrids with fiberglass and rifle shafts
Note: True Temper and similar multi-step steel shafts are not compatible with GolfShaftWraps. The stepped design traps air during application, leading to air bubbles and a faulty installation.
Prepare the Shaft
o Remove any existing stickers and residue from the shaft.
o Clean the shaft thoroughly to ensure a smooth, dry surface.
Grip Adjustment
o If possible, roll up the grip approximately 1/4 inch for a seamless look
Measure and Cut the Wrap
o Lay the wrap on a flat surface.
o Measure distance from hosel to exposed area under grip and cut it to the correct length.
o Important: The cut end will always be positioned at the top of the shaft (wider part of wrap)
Position the Wrap
o Peel off the backing from the wrap.
o Center the wrap on the shaft, aligning it carefully.
o Ensure the logo is facing up when the club is in the address position (this places the seam on the back of the shaft).
o Do not stretch the wrap during application.
Secure the Wrap
o Using your fingers, press along the center of the wrap working from bottom top.
o Smooth it down firmly to eliminate air bubbles and adhere it securely to the shaft.
Starting from one side and beginning at the bottom carefully roll the wrap around in small intervals around the shaft apply constant firm pressure as you go to ensure a smooth application and to remove any air bubbles.
Rotate the club and repeat the process on the other side,
To remove small air bubbles, use a blow dryer set to high heat. Hold it 3–4 inches away from the wrap and apply firm pressure, working the bubbles outward toward the seam.
